Happy Birthday Todd!

Happy Birthday to a wizard, a true star: Todd Rundgren. (and Happy Anniversary too.) Kasim has played with Todd on his birthdays over the years. The New Cars tour starts back up today in Washington. Kasim will be joining them for a couple of shows in July before the USA leg of Meat Loaf's tour. I wish The New Cars would come to Virginia this year. I really enjoyed their show last year at Wolf Trap.

Kasim bootlegs

Over the years, I've noticed Kasim's shows have been recorded and traded around with other fans. To my knowledge, there aren't many shows out there that have been recorded. Here are the shows I know about that are available on audio:

Kasim's chats

In 2001, Kasim had his first chat with his fans at KasimInfo.com. Over the years, he's held chats off and on. I believe the last chat was in 2004. I've been lucky enough to be at every chat he's held.
We'd chat about stuff like Meat Loaf, Todd, Utopia, Joan Jett, music he likes to listen to, etc.
We'd also kid him about Doug Kennedy. Every time he wasn't at the chats, we would kid that Doug is in jail and Kasim would have to bail him out! I miss those chats and I wish he would have one again. Some of the chats are archived at KasimInfo.com.
